This is the day which the Lord has made; Let’s rejoice and be glad in it. Please, O Lord, do save us; Please, O Lord, do send prosperity! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord; We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.” (Psalms 118:24‭-‬26)

We thank the Lord that we are here in 2021, the year that the Lord has made that we may rejoice and be glad in Him. The Lord has allowed us to see this New season of time because He has work for us to do.

Therefore let us desist from living for ourselves but for the One who loved us and gave His life for our salvation (2 Cor 5:15).

As I stand in the presence of the Lord our Emmanuel, I send blessings to you and good tindings of the Lord who when He was lifted drew men to Himself (John 12:32). Likewise when we take our cross and follow Him, we shall have power to draw men to Christ.

We need to seek the power to save us. The challenges increase by day and it is calling for a greater sacrifice. Like the Psalmist we need to stand united to cry “Oh Lord, do save us; please Oh Lord do send prosperity!”

We can not sit idle when the world continues to lavish in sin. We can’t do nothing when calamity continues to strike each day. The redeemed of the Lord need to rise up against the dark spirits who have brought the spirit of spiritual slumber and death to today’s Church. We can do something.

Life will be much easier with the Lord holding us if we can honour Him by sacrificing the first month at least 21 days, to seek Him in Daniel Fast.

Those who have taken the journey before will tell you that it pays. God rewards greatly every sacrifice of prayer made. It is never in vain.

When we enter each new moment of time in the Name of the Lord (or rather by honouring and acknowledging the Name of the Lord as the only source of true help), like the Psalmist says we are blessed. May we all attain to that blessing of acknowledging God’s Name.

May we attain to the level of blessing our families, our community, our nation standing at a point of our deeper relationship with the Lord.

Once we draw from the Lord His anointing, we can speak with boldness, ‘I bless you from the my place where the Lord empowers me.’ Do not forget what the Lord taught:

“The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened” – (Matt 13:33).

We can affect every moment of the year 2021 when we likewise work to hind the power that overcomes evil in the measure of the time ahead.

Let us not forget that a little yeast leavens the whole lump (Gal 5:9). We have the power to positively affect days ahead. Have a blessed 2021.
